Our call to Christian life is a call or journey undertaken to follow Christ more closely and total dedication to God’s will. Also, not to live or act in a way that compromises our call to discipleship, or that contradicts our Christian faith.
STAY AWAKE AND ACTIVE!!!
In today’s Gospel reading, Jesus Christ tells us to always stay awake and be ready, since the Son of man is coming at an hour we do not expect. So, in this First Sunday of Advent Season, as we prepare for the celebration of Christmas and Christ’s Parousia, how can we always remain actively awake?

A CALL TO EMULATE THE SAINTS!
Today, the Church celebrates the victory of our God in the company of all the redeemed in Heaven. She venerates those who through their life struggles lived exemplary lives, even though they were not officially canonized. If we purify ourselves through righteous living, then we shall surely triumph in the end like these Saints by the Power of the Holy Spirit.
