Do not allow your challenges, disappointments or failures orchestrated by the vicissitudes of life to weigh you down or discourage your life aspirations. But always have faith in God Almighty.
- You may ask God for strength, and God gives you difficulties to make you strong.
- You may ask God for wisdom and He gives you problems to solve.
- You may ask for courage and God gives you dangers to overcome.
- You may ask for true love and God gives you troubled people to help.
Undoubtedly, we learn more from our sufferings and failures than from our successes. For suffering produces endurance, and endurance builds up character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us (Romans 5:3-5).
Therefore, whenever there is turbulence in your life, and you are passing through moments of excruciating pains; first commit the situation to God Almighty. Once you have done your own part in doing what is humanly possible by showing genuine love (sacrifice of one’s own comforts, energy, time, resources and talents for the sake of others; being merciful and compassionate, as well as giving a listening ear) to people around you, especially the poor, weak, depressed, etc. , then, put your trust in God and patiently wait for His divine intervention and assistance. He will surely answer your prayers at the appointed time (Jeremiah 33:3; Psalms 50:15; Habakkuk 2:3-4).
PRAYER:
May the Power of the Holy Spirit strengthen you, and increase your faith and love for God, just like Abraham, so that you will always stand firm no matter the challenges, wait for His divine blessings, and also be ready to receive Christ whenever He comes at the Parousia; through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
Peace of Christ be with you!
